There are several family oriented activities in the Cuba-Steeleville area including:   camping,   floating the Meramec River, horseback rides,
www.timeon.com/garrisons ,  and country and western music shows.

Hotels/Motels in the area:  There is a Best Western Inn in Cuba, Exit 208 on I44.
The phone number is 573-885-7707. We used their facilities last year. They did add a small charge to each room to cover what they called "extra cleaning" because of the cats. Be sure to inquire ahead of time as to complete charges so that you will not be surprised when you check out.

Hotels that we used in Sullivan for the past few years are available at the 230 Exit.
The Super 8, in Sullivan has been good to cooperate with us in the past.
