Show Hours: Show hours will be from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday and from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday. All entries will be expected to remain in the showroom during the advertised hours.

All fees must accompany mailed entries. Post-dated checks will not be accepted.
Fees for Faxed/E-mailed entries must be received within 10 days of receipt of entry or
be paid at check in, which ever is the lesser time. No refunds for failure to bench.

the entry clerk will call collect if any clarification is needed.

Health Certificates: For those exhibitors with out-of-state entries, be advised that you could be asked for proof that health certificates and inoculations are up to date including proof of rabies vaccination for all animals brought to the Show Hall. Certificates must be current with no issue dates older than 30 days. This is a State of Kansas regulation and law beyond the control of the Topeka Cat Fanciers.

Junior Showmanship: For children ages 8 to 15 years old. This one ring is for children showing a pedigreed cat that has them listed as owner or co-owner. The children will be judged solely on their ability and skill in presenting their cat in the ring. The judge can excuse any junior handler who, in his/her opinion, cannot control the cat. Household Pets: Household pets will be judged in six rings. Entries are limited to kittens at least 4 months old and altered adult cats 8 months and older. All household pets must be pre-entered and CANNOT BE DECLAWED..

Ribbons: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded according to CFA rules. We will use permanent ribbons for first, second and third place. Regular flat ribbons will be available if exhibitors want them.

Supplies: Litter will be provided. Bring your own litter pans. A single cage is provided by the club for each entry. Cage size is 21" X 21" single and 21" X 45" double. Bring curtains or towels to hang on the inside, top and bottom of the cage. Bring your cat to the show hall in a carrier.

Booths:
One 2' X 8' floor table is $50.00, each additional table is $25.00 for up to three tables. Contact the Show Manager early for booth requests. See link below for vendors contract.

Additional Information: No veterinarian inspection prior to benching will be required. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. You are advised to have your cats inoculated against feline enteritis, feline Rhinotracheitis/Pneumonitis, calci viruses and tested negative for FELV before entry. All cats must be free of fleas, fungus, ear mites and any of the above. The show committee reserves the right to remove any cat from the show hall until a licensed veterinarian can pass on the health of the cat. This will be done at the exhibitor's expense. Front and rear claws are to be clipped on all cats BUT CATS CANNOT BE ENTERED IN A CFA SHOW IF THEY HAVE BEEN DECLAWED.. Reasonable care will be taken of cats and personal property. Neither the Topeka Cat Fanciers nor its individual members shall be liable for property lost or damaged. This is a CFA licensed show. CFA rules will be strictly enforced. Show rules may be obtained by sending $5.00 to CFA, PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-0805. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kittens will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. The Club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge Non Championship classes. Kittens under 4 months of age will not be allowed in the show hall.Out-of-state exhibitors, please bring Health Certificates, issued within the last 30 days, and vaccination verification for your animals. You could be asked for proof of rabies and other appropriate vaccinations for any animal you have in the Show Hall. In addition, those selling cats or kittens in the Show Hall are required to provide appropriate vaccination information on the animal to be sold. Only cats or kittens eligible for CFA registration may be sold.
