Health Certificates: For those exhibitors with out-of-state entries, be advised that you could be asked for proof that health certificates and inoculations are up to date including proof of rabies vaccination for all animals brought to the Show Hall. Certificates must be current with no issue dates older than 30 days. This is a State of Kansas regulation and law beyond the control of the Topeka Cat Fanciers. Junior Showmanship: For children ages 8 to 15 years old. This one ring is for children showing a pedigreed cat that has them listed as owner or co-owner. The children will be judged solely on their ability and skill in presenting their cat in the ring. The judge can excuse any junior handler who, in his/her opinion, cannot control the cat. For more information, contact CFA at 732-528-9797 and read the information on the CFA Web Site at: http://www.cfainc.org/shows/jr-showmanship.html Household
Pets: Household pets
will be judged in six rings. Entries are limited to kittens at least 4
months old and altered adult cats 8 months and older. All household pets
must be pre-entered.
Reasonable care will be taken of cats and personal property. Neither the Topeka Cat Fanciers nor its individual members shall be liable for property lost or damaged. This is a CFA licensed show. CFA rules will be strictly enforced. Show rules may be obtained by sending $5.00 to CFA, PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-0805. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kittens will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. The Club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge Non Championship classes. Kittens under 4 months of age will not be allowed in the show hall. Out-of-state exhibitors, please bring Health Certificates, issued within the last 30 days, and vaccination verification for your animals. You could be asked for proof of rabies and other appropriate vaccinations for any animal you have in the Show Hall. In addition, anyone selling cats or kittens in the Show Hall are required to provide appropriate vaccination information on the animal to be sold. |
